Confessions Of The Head of The House
Sitting in the middle of the night on the chair in the office and typing the presentation for the hand phone company, I felt very stressed as I had to finish up this million-dollar proposal early in the morning. Actually, I had a dinner date with my family that very night, but my employer suddenly came up to me with this very important client, who is an entrepreneur, and as a result, I had to cancel the dinner. It was very common for me to cancel a dinner with my family then. As an employee who had an outstanding performance at the advertisement company, I was introduced to the billionaire to make advertisements for his cellphone company.
This is how I end up here in the middle night without any company. While working on the proposal, memories I had with my family suddenly appeared out of nowhere. I remembered the time when I went home after work and my lifelong partner waiting for me outside the door and helping me to carry the heavy bag. The aroma of the dishes that she whipped for me was heavenly which made me feel like I'm in seventh heaven. Joanne was her name, a beautiful name for a gorgeous girl and she is the only reason I work this hard for.
Another scene was shown from my memories. The two adorable-looking newborn twin girls that my wife had given birth to were mumbling their first words. "Papa",that was what they had said. The way that they had said the word will even make the toughest man go soft. They had a very mesmerizing smile, just like their mother's. Remembering all these things made me feel that I am the happiest man on Earth, and it also energized me as they are the only things that motivated me to work, but then again I had to get back to work

Holiday Task 2

She sat heart-broken on her bed.

Tears streaming down her eyes. Darkness filled the whole room with gloomy emotions. Pain struck terrifyingly on her fragile heart, making her tears drop like a waterfall. As the time passes by, she dropped on her knees. Unable to bear the excruciating pain, she decided on a life-changing decision. A sharp shiny knife on her hand, which will inflict acute pain for a moment that will end her suffering is her decision.
Holiday Task 1
Trained hard, backed out from competition
Sitting at the rocking chair at my garden, remembering the incident that I have always regretted all my life. The memory has been haunting me since the incident happened, I began to blame myself for losing the championship that I could have won, but then after much consolation from my dearest brother and after thinking that it is no use to keep brooding over the past, I began to calm down naturally. But still I kept on remembering the incident as it was still very vivid on my mind.
Gripping my badminton racket with enormous strength, I swang my racket and hit the shuttlecock harshly to the opponent's side of the field and scored a point. Badminton was my passion and i enjoyed playing badminton very much which of course made me quite a skillful player after much practice in the recent years as report states that a good work requires one percent creativity and ninety-nine percent hard work.
Due to my hard work for all this while, I was chosen to attend the summer's badminton championship by my school. When I first heard the news that I was chosen I became speechless. I joined the badminton CCA just for fun and never expected that I would represent my school to fight for the championship nationwide. This world is indeed full of unexpected surprises which is a very good thing indeed.I continued to train hard after i heard the news as I wanted to do my school proud for the first time ever in my life.
The days were near, and i was totally prepared for the competition. The first match was quite easy for me as I single-handedly defeated my opponent. The match kept getting harder and harder but I still defeated every opponent that stood in my way. Soon i reached the finals and so
I was well-known at my school. I practiced day and night and without rest and was really very nervous at that time.
One day before the finals, a very mesmerizing and elegant girl came and introduced herself to me. She was the most beautiful girl I have ever seen in my life. She came to ask if i could go on a date with her the next day, and I just agreed to her, without giving it a second thought. She gave me her number and she left.
On the next day, i just realized this day was both when the finals are held and also when the mysterious girl and i had date. I soon had to choose whether to go out with this girl or to attend the championship finals and I finally chose to go out with this girl, this is where i made the biggest mistake of my life. I informed my teacher that I have backed out from the competition for personal issues and he was very disappointed in me.
I went to the place where we decided our date will be, but she was nowhere to be seen, I called her number but she did not answer the call and so i just waited there for a whole day like a silly fool. After a few hours, I realized that I had just been fooled. I lost the chance to win the championship because of a girl, I trained hard for nothing at the end and this is my deepest regret.
